Q: Can I order an “Out-of-Stock“ item? 

A: Well, yes, almost!  Email us advising the out-of-stock item you want, and we’ll email you back with our best estimate of its next print date, and again just as it arrives back into stock...  hello@HaveToHaveOne.com

Q:  Can you send an item direct to my friend, instead of it coming to me first?

A:  Yes we can, and we often do, especially to eliminate “re-shipping“ by you that would cost you postage and take a few days longer too.  So if time is tight to reach your recipient by the date you'd like, we can send it directly to them. We can also include our small printed paper slip, saying... “Hi... I found this and thought of you“, with your recipient’s first name hand written above and your first name below (as if your signature), to let them know who has sent them the gift.  Right after placing your order online, mail us our Order Number (important!), and the address and names you want us to use on the enclosure slip, to... ShipDirect@HaveToHaveOne.com

There may be extra Direct Shipping Charge of £3.45 for this service if this item is part of a larger order that has its other items coming to you in the normal way.  There is no extra charge for this service where it's a Single Destination Order with a standard Shipping Charge already applying.  An International Shipping Charge will apply if the item is being sent to an address outwith the UK.  We'll email you back with the cost, which varies a lot by destination.

Q:  I haven’t received my order yet. Can you put a trace on it please?

A: If your order still hasn’t arrived by 3 business days after the date that you expected it, email us the details including our Order Number and we’ll investigate.  It’s also worth asking your neighbours if they took in a package for you while you were out, but forgot to tell you.  It happens quite a lot!  Delivery drivers usually postcard you when they leave a package with a neighbour, but not all do.  Email us at...  Trace@HaveToHaveOne.com

Q:  Are your Signs waterproof?

A:  Yes they are.  They're printed on 3mm thick rigid PVC Professional Sign Board, and the printing inks we use aren’t water soluble, so they’re perfect for indoor or outdoor use.  They can be cleaned gently using a non-abrasive cream cleaner like Cif, or just washed.

Q:  Are your Signs fade resistant?

A:  Yes. Some fading is likely eventually in bright sun locations, but the inks we use stay vibrant for years.

Q:  Are your Signs always exactly as they appear online?

A:  Yes, almost always, unless our policy of continuous improvement causes a minor text revision for the better, or a print colour change, but this doesn’t happen often, and the message is only ever improved, often following customer imput.

Q:  Are you able to make me a one-off sign with my own message?

A:  Yes, often we can, but it does usually take a little longer to set-up and print. Where practical, we try to batch together personalised items for different customers to keep your cost as low as possible.  Personalisation usually takes 2 to 3 weeks on average, but sometimes you get lucky and it happens faster.  We send you 2 of your one-off items... one that you can gift, and one for you to keep.  

Excluding Coffee Mugs, the cost for a fairly standard personalised order like the examples below is usually £28.00 in total, which includes the 2 items we send you, set-up and custom printing.  (Credit Card sized Handout Cards have a minimum customised quantity of 500, caused by their printing process, but they don't cost 20p each!)  An extra charge of £3.45 applies if you want one of your customised items sent directly the person it’s for, with the other coming to you.  UK destinations only.  Email us with what’s on your mind -- we're very broad minded, so don't be shy -- and we’ll get back to you to confirm price and timescale... Examples (as 150mm x 80mm x 3mm Signs to display or hand out): “John, I’m pregnant with Triplets.  Marry me or all 4 of us are leaving you!  Mary“

Or something more like:  "Hi, it’s Rosie... the cute little blonde who keeps smiling at you in Starbucks most mornings!  I’m far too shy to do this verbally, but I’d really like to have a drink with you one evening!  Coffee or otherwise.  My mobile number is 07xxx xxxxxx. Text me?“

 

Q:  Can you make me one of your standard message Signs at a different size?

A:  Yes, usually we can, but it does take a little longer to provide than an in-stock item.  And usually only for shipping to UK addresses, dependent on size.  Cost is also dependent on size, which can be anything up to 120cm x 80cm, or bigger if we go up from standard 3mm thick to 5mm or 10mm thick Sign Board Material.  So email us with what you’d like, and we’ll get back to you with cost and timescale.  Custom messages also possible.  Email to... Q:  I love this website!   I want to work with you?

A:  Sorry, we have no vacancies right now.  When we do, we post them on this website page at “Working With Us“, just under this “FAQs“ section.  Most jobs are in based in our home city, Glasgow, in the UK.  For general vacancies, we do have a waitlist of “Friends of Existing Staff” who tend to get priority, just to be honest and transparent about it!
